Busier than ever

Well things have been extremely busy lately. Wish sales were better but that will come. The transitition to self distribution is well under way and its like starting all over again. I've been trying to touch base with as many accounts as possible but didn't realize how few actually knew they bought our beer in the past. Response is great but takes time to get sales start. Guess all this face to face stuff is going to pay off in the long run but it takes a TON of time initially. I can't wait for our new guy to start this week. I'm putting together the account lists and contacts etc for him and hope he can hit the ground running. Still waiting on label approval for our beers from Flying Bison, as with everything its taking WAY TOO LONG. This is definitly a test of my resolve and passion. Hopefully I'll pass.

What the future might hold

Well things have gotten off to a rocky start so far. Self distribution is a tough thing but in the long run will be the best thing for our brand. Next week our first paid employee starts. He'll be covering have of Onondoga County and hopefully will help us grow to were we need to be to be a healthy business. Keep looking for our IPA at Greenes in Oswego and pretty soon at several locations in Syracuse. I'm hoping to make major inroads in the next week in getting some of our old accounts back and open some in ones. Our website redesign is going to happen sometime in Nov. our admin. is getting married and I can't expect and wouldn't ask him to do it now. I'll going to get the next newletter done this weekend and out next week so look for it in your mailbox.

Distribution News

Well I mentioned it a while ago that we would have some changes to our distribution network well they finally happened. September 1, 2007 was the last day that Spirit and Sanzone was our distributor. On October 1, 2007 we offically began self distributing. That means that we are now the smallest distributor in central NY and possible the state. I am still looking for a part time sales/delivary person if anyone out there is interested. Contact me at (315)720-2013 for more details. New Account update: Kelly Cole's Improper in downtown Syracuse is now pouring Vanilla Bean. Ask for it the next time you are in.
