India Pale Ale warning

If anyone has purchased a 6 pack of our India Pale Ale recently PLEASE carefully check to see if it says brewed by Proudly brewed by Wagner Valley Brewing Lodi, NY for the Landmark Beer Company Syracuse, NY. If so place it in large plastic bag and put it in the trash can. There is a potential for the bottle to crack under the pressure of the beer inside. We recalled the entire batch back in July but unfortunately one of our distributors accidentially shipped some to customers recently. If you did purchase some please email me your address, how much you paid and where you purchased it at and I will refund you. Our email is sales@landmarkbrewing.com

Our new batch of IPA will be out in the next week or so and will say Proudly Brewed by the Flying Bison Brewing Company on the label. The new label will also have a high gloss finish as opposed to the matte finish on the old label.

website down

For some reason our website is down. I'm not sure how long, maybe a day or two. I've contacted our hosting company to see what the problem is. Hopefully it will be up soon. We are actually starting a redesign that will make it easier to get info.

Weekend Recap

What a weekend. Started off with our first beer dinner at the Landmark Inn in Bouckville. Needless to say we were running late but made it there with about 2 minutes to spare. Will and Andrew put on a great dinner. My meal was the best I've had in recent memory. The crowd really surprised me. I was only expecting around 25 or so people, 50 showed up. Looks like we'll be doing another dinner sometime there.

Saturday was the Hopfest which as always was a great event. Met lots of nice people and tried some beers I've never had before. For the first time we had two really good volunteers pouring for us. NY has a crazy law that prohibits brewery employees from giving away samples at events like this.

Lastest IPA batch

Several months ago we mutually parted ways with Wagner Brewing Company and moved all of our production to Flying Bison Brewing in Buffalo. Well our first batch is nearly done and it tastes awesome. Our IPA should be out sometime next week followed by a new batch of Vanilla Bean shortly afterwards. Anyone interested in it please feel free to contact me at sales@landmarkbrewing.com.

Madison County Hopfest

Well tonight we are headed over to the Landmark Tavern in Bouckville for a beer dinner featuring our beers plus one from Flying Bison Brewing Company.

Saturday will be the Hopfest at the Historical Association in Onieda. This event is usually a lot of fun so anyone considering going should make it out there.

Well hope to see all there tomorrow.
